Description

This example shows the setf function use the [ ] (bracket) operators to specify the ObjectRepository and the key.

 

Details

Create a new ObjectRepository.

(setq gor (new ObjectRepository: "mice.db")) Returns: #<ObjectRepository 197815>

Install a key and value pair.

(setq gor[one] "minnie") Returns: #<ObjectRepository 197815>

Install a key and value pair.

(setq gor[two] "speedy gonzales") Returns: #<ObjectRepository 197815>

Install a key and value pair; Install the value as an immediate in the Repository index.

(setf gor[three] "mighty") Returns: #<ObjectRepository 197815>
gor[three] Returns: mighty
