Example Vector apply 003

 

 

Description

This example defines a Vector containing Integer values. Then it uses the apply function to add all the values in the Vector.

 

Details

(define X #( 2 5 10 3 ) ) Returns: #<Vector 197815>
(apply + X) Returns: 20

Notes and Hints

Equivalent expression not using apply:

(+ (+ (+ X[0] X[1]) X[2] ) X[3])

Returns: 20

(+ X[0] X[1] X[2] X[3] )

Returns: 20
