Example Vector compare 006

 

 

Description

These examples use the compare functions to do a case-sensitive comparison of two objects of the same type. A Boolean value is returned.

 

Details

Both Vectors are equal.

(compare #("Hello" "World" ) #("Hello" "World" )) Returns: 0

The value of the first Vector is greater than the value of the second Vector.

(compare #("Hello" "Worlds" ) #("Hello" "World" )) Returns: 1

The value of the first Vector is lesser than the value of the second Vector.

(compare #("Hello" "Earth" ) #("Hello" "World" )) Returns: -1

Notes and Hints

If you prefer a Boolean resulting from the comparison , use the compareEQ, compareNE, compareGT, compareLT functions.
