Description

These examples check if the object is a member of the NumVector using the member function. If the object is a member of the NumVector, its index value will be returned, if not the Boolean, false will be returned.

 

Details

A NumVector is defined.

(define X #(num| 11.433 -2.6 ) ) Returns: #<NumVector 123456>

The number 18 is a not a member contained in the Vector.

(member 18 X) Returns: false

The number is a member contained in the Vector. Its index is returned.

(member -2.6 X) Returns: 1
