Example String trim 001

 

 

Description

This example use the trim function to remove leading, trailing or extra spaces in the String.

 

Details

(trim " this is a test") Returns: this is a test
(trim " this is
a test
to show how trim works with
#\newline character.") 		Returns: this is a test to show how trim works with #\newline character

Notes and Hints

This function only removes extra spaces and also the #\newline character. To remove non-printable characters, use the clean function
