Overview

The isCharAlphabetic function returns true if every character in the argument {obj} is an alphabetic character. Otherwise the isCharAlphabetic function returns false.

Usage

The isCharAlphabetic function function is used to query an object to see if it contains only alphabetic characters.

 

Syntax

Expression:

(isCharAlphabetic obj)


Arguments Name Type Description
Argument:objText, Character, String, Symbol, or ByteVector Object to be evaluated.

Returns:

If the object contains only alphabetic characters, true is returned. Otherwise false is returned.
