Overview

The isObject Function returns true if the argument {obj} is an Object; otherwise, false is returned.

Usage

The isObject function is used to query a variable or constant to determine if it is an Analytic Information Server object data type. The isObject function will return true if the object is one of the following: Symbol (Unquoted or Quoted), List, Pair (Unquoted or Quoted), Vector (BitVector, IntVector, FloatVector, NumVector, SmallVector, ObjVector, PcodeVector), Matrix (BitMatrix, IntMatrix, FloatMatrix, NumMatrix, SmallMatrix, ObjMatrix, PcodeMatrix), Structure, Dictionary, Directory, Repository, Brick, Lambda.
