Overview

The isText Function returns true if the argument {obj} is a Text type; otherwise, false is returned.

Usage

The isText function is used to query an object to see if it is of type Text. Alternate methods would be to use the isType function using the Type argument as type Text or one may use the isString function .

 

Syntax

Expression:

(isText obj)

Returns:

If the object is of type Text, true is returned. Otherwise false is returned
