isCharName

 

 

Overview

The isCharName function returns true if every character in the argument {obj} is an alphanumeric or an underscore character. Otherwise the isCharName function returns false.

Usage

The isCharName function function is used to query an object to see if it contains alphanumeric or underscore characters.

 

Syntax

Expression:

(isCharName obj)


Arguments Name Type Description
Argument:objCharacter String Symbol Vector ByteVector Text Boolean The object to be evaluated.

Returns:

If the object contains only alphanumeric or underscore characters, true is returned. Otherwise false is returned.
